wow. beautiful. but i also wonder if these ppl were exploited just a little.

terri: i understand your concern, but i think everyone looks quite happy here and like they are having a good day of fun. i think that something like this is a great way for these folks and the photographer to interact and learn a bit about each other too. i am unable to read the french commentary so i do not know if these were staged or if they are candid. my mom thinks they are candid shots based on previous exhibits that also showed similar tribes doing similar things.

exhibits like these are a good way for people to learn about each other and reach a common understanding that can benefit everyone. very much like the ashes and snow exhibit shown in the post above that is traveling the world now.
