sandwiches are life ...

i have always been into sandwiches, eating them and serving them. i once managed a deli in boston, massachusettes that served an average of 3,000 sandwiches a week to yippies in the financial district. plus all the other stuff a deli serves. like 10,000+ cups of coffee a week.

as you will see from the image, sandwiches are serious business ...

HAHA! that's funny! that drawing is totally my language - i deal with autocad almost everyday! :))

i've always been more of a rice than bread person but since i got here, i haven't been eating much rice. Been having lots of sandwiches, and they're keeping me happy coz the bread and other ingredients are always so fresh!

thanks for stopping by, glad you like the drawing.

i posted about my favorite (face) sandwich last week: http://thelunchguy.blogspot.com/search/label/bernaise

if making Bearnaise is a pain for you i think where you are you can find either tarragon in vinegar, or even bernaise essence already prepared. mix some of that with a good mayo, which i know you have there, and use that for the spread. than continue as i suggest in the post.

i also like liver sausage (liverwurst) or pate, with hard boiled egg, bacon and lettuce on pumpernickel or rye with mayo.

and if you are into tuna try this >>> tuna, chopped green olive, capers, fresh dill and minced onion, with lemon juice and mayo on dark bread.
